Grow Food Where You Live: Edible Landscapes and Natural Yards

Edible LandscapeThese pioneers recognize that the yards and surplus public lands in our neighborhoods are not efficiently managed. We can dramatically reduce water use and improve the natural habitats surrounding our homes, while producing food in a sustainable method.

In their own words, Urban Patchwork is dedicated to “strengthen and beautify our communities, expand our food system’s reach, and reduce the environmental impact of landscaping and agriculture.”

Resolution Gardens, is a landscaping company that has built about 800 gardens. They design and build edible landscapes and traditional victory gardens, or refurbish existing gardens.
